Subject combinations

Both the Bachelor and Master course combine the major artistic subject, Visual Arts, with a major academic subject provided by our partner universities:

At Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) you can study Biology, Chemistry, German, Geography, Mathematics, Physics and Physical Education. Computer Science is available from WS 16/17 and Philosophy/Ethics is available in combination with Visual Arts from WS 17/18.

At Mannheim University you can combine with German, English, French, History, Computer Science, Italian, Mathematics, Philosophy/Ethics, Political Science, Spanish and Economics.

The University of Heidelberg offers German, English, French, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Protestant Theology, Geography, History, Italian, Jewish Religious Education, Latin, Philosophy/Ethics, Physics, Politics, Spanish and Physical Education.

Please be aware of the entry requirements and application deadlines of our partner universities. As both subjects are studied in parallel you will need to consider journey times and the different formats of the course structures when choosing the university for your second subject.
