
Requirements
The minimum age required for enrolment as a student at the Academy is 17 years.
Art Education: For this course of study, a higher education entrance qualification or its equivalent is mandatory and evidence must also be given of artistic aptitude (in the form of an aptitude test).
Bachelor of Fine Arts: General and subject-specific higher education entrance qualifications are required, as is the teacher orientation self-assessment test (www.bw-cct.de)
Please note that the admission process takes place only once a year for admission in the Winter Semester.
Entry requirements for the second major subject are governed by the partner university. Applicants who are already gainfully employed but do not have general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualifications should contact the respective Examination Office.

Master of Education: The precondition for admission to this course is the successful completion of the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Delta Examination – University Admission with a University of Applied Sciences Entrance Qualification or Subject-specific Higher Education Entrance Qualification
The Delta Exam qualification is valid for the course in Art Teaching in the Visual Arts (for the second major subject please contact the respective university).
The Landeshochschulgesetz (the law regulating higher education in Baden-Württemberg) gives prospective students who have a university of applied sciences entrance qualification or a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification the opportunity to take up a course of study in a subject area or at a type of higher education institution to which they were hitherto denied access. Admission to Bachelor courses at universities by means of an incremental exam (the Delta Examination) has been possible as from the Winter Semester 2015/2016.
